February 21, 2024As required by Ohio Revised Code ORC 3313.666 and Board of Education Policy 214, the school district administration should semiannually provide the president of the board a written summary of all reported incidents and post the summary on its website, if the district has a website, to the extent permitted by section 3319.321 of the Revised Code and the “Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974,” 88 Stat. 571, 20 U.S.C. 1232g, as amended.
In accordance with Policy 214, harassment, intimidation, or bullying means any intentional written, electronic, verbal, or physical act that a student has exhibited toward another particular student more than once and the behavior both:
“Harassment, Intimidation, Bullying” means:
1. An intentional written, verbal, graphic, electronic, or physical act that a student or group of students has exhibited toward another student or school personnel (including volunteers or others serving the school), more than once, and the behavior:
a. Causes mental or physical harm to the victim; and
b. Is sufficiently severe, persistent or pervasive that it creates an intimidating, threatening or abusive educational environment
2. Violence within a dating relationship
